One of my favorite things to do is to gather your friends together for a "Favorite Things Party."  Have each person bring 2 or 3 of their favorite things that cost $10 or less so that your guests at the party can go home with two or three gifts of someone else's favorite items.  It's a fun way to get to know new friends, neighbors, or even just a great way to get to know your old friends a little better.
